Higuaín and Cristiano, immune to the FIFA virus

Real's win over Celta was a formality (2-0)

Higuaín's 11th minute strike and a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty in the 68th minute gave Real Madrid a victory over Celta in an uneventful game, which saw José Mourinho's men complete their objective and take home three points with no great difficulty.
José Mourinho's players were expected to be a little uncomfortable, given the number of injuries and the nerve of the Vigo-based team with high hopes on its return to the Bernabéu, but it ended up being a rather dull game to watch, though satisfactory for 'Los Blancos'.
The Portuguese manager got the line-up right. Sergio Ramos was notable on his return to the right back position, Essien did his job on the left and Varane looked solid in central defence alongside Pepe.
Real's three attacking midfielders, Kaká, Özil and Modric, all started, but only with Özil playing in his natural position. The Brazilian played on the wing and the Croat made up the double pivot alongside Xabi Alonso. They did their jobs, as did Argentina's Gonzalo Higuaín as the number nine.
Real Madrid soon got into the swing of things with a great goal by Higuaín off a cross-shot from the left which beat Sergio. Cristiano Ronaldo finished off the task in the second half when he converted a penalty for a foul by Cabral on Özil. The story ended there, as Real Madrid saved its strength ahead of its visit to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
