LANCE ARMSTRONG has been stripped of his Tour de France titles and banned from cycling for life.
Armstrong became a global superstar by winning SEVEN straight Tours from 1999 after recovering from cancer.
But cycling’s governing body have now withdrawn his titles on the recommendation of the USADA report.
UCI president Pat McQuaid said: “We will not appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport and it will recognise the sanctions that USADA has imposed.
“The UCI will ban Lance Armstrong from cycling and strip him of his seven Tour de France titles.
“Lance Armstrong has no place in cycling.”
