The tactician admitted that he would have liked to reach his century with "a Real Madrid-Porto match, like my first", having made his debut in the tournament for Porto at the Bernabéu.
"I know that this will draw some criticism, but I would say San Siro is the best stadium to play in as the home team: the support from the crowd is unique", said Mourinho, who isn't willing to rest on the laurels he has garnered so far in Europe.
"There are great coaches who have never won the Champions League. I'm young and lucky enough to have won it twice, but I've still got many years ahead of me to add to those two trophies", he stated.
As for the matches that bring back the fondest memories, the 'Special One' pointed to "Manchester United-Porto, the game that convinced us that we had it in us to be champions of Europe".
Mou also admitted how much Real Madrid's penalty-shootout defeat to Bayern last year "hurt" and harked back to Chelsea's loss to Liverpool several years ago, "when a goal was given even though the ball didn't cross the line. I've been waiting for goal-line technology ever since then".
Mou bringing up his century comes hot on the heels of Cristiano celebrating his 100th Portugal cap. "We're both still young, full of motivation and in a position to improve on those figures", the Portuguese coach claimed.
