Leo Messi spoke on EA Sports: "My aims are long-term - to improve and try to win everything we've won again. People say I'm very competitive", he said.
"I don't compete with Cristiano. I try to do the best I can for Barça and for Argentina. The rest is all made up by the media. Neither Cristiano nor I compete directly with each other", he insisted.
"I like training, I like playing and I like winning. I've been like that since I was a kid", he explained.
"I'd be very happy if one of my teammates won the Ballon d'Or. They also deserve it", he explained. "Without my teammates I wouldn't have managed everything I've managed. They play a huge part. I've already said who my votes are going to be for (Xavi, Iniesta and Agüero) and that I wouldn't vote for myself even if I could".
"My contract isn't a worry, I've already repeated that a number of times. I know what I want. The Champions League is a goal for me. We know it's difficult because it is a competition that has all the best teams in it, but we’ll do our best to win it", he said.
"Wherever Guardiola goes things will work out well for him. I believe he's the best coach in the world. It'll obviously take time for him to apply his philosophy to any new team, but I think it will work for him", he added.
