FC Barcelone : Abdennour encore supervisé

Le Toulousain Aymen Abdennour a encore été supervisé le week-end dernier par le FC Barcelone. 

Sous contrat jusqu’en juin 2017 avec Toulouse, le défenseur central international tunisien Aymen Abdennour (23 ans) figure dans les petits papiers du FC Barcelone, qui lorgne aussi Mats Hummels (24 ans, Borussia Dortmund) ou encore Mamadou Sakho (PSG), notamment. L’ancien joueur du Werder Brême a encore été supervisé face à Rennes (0-2, 24eme journée de Ligue 1), le week-end dernier.

La presse espagnole délivrait vendredi matin quelques informations de poids sur ce à quoi pourrait ressembler l'équipe du Barça la saison prochaine. Avec notamment Neymar, David Luiz ou encore Mats Hummels...
L'été pourrait être agité du côté de la Catalogne. Selon la presse catalane, un grand chantier serait sur les rails : renforcer ou renouveler certains postes. D'abord, le remplacement de Victor Valdès qui serait déjà acté avec la possible signature d'un pré-contrat avec Marc-André Ter Stegen, le gardien allemand du Borussia Mönchengladbach. Viendrait ensuite la question de la défense centrale et de l'attaque.
Pour le premier poste, Tito Vilanova souhaiterait compter un joueur supplémentaire, Puyol et Piqué étant fragiles. Supervisé pour le poste, Aymen Abdennour, le défenseur international tunisien de Toulouse, constitue une piste sérieuse pour les dirigeants catalans. Mais selon El Mundo Deportivo, la priorité de l'entraîneur des Blaugranas se nommerait Mats Hummels, l'international allemand du Borussia Dortmund. Seul problème, le joueur serait aussi désiré par le Bayern Munich, qui disposera de moyens conséquents (278 millions d'euros) pour faire pencher la balance de son côté l'été prochain. Également convoité, le joueur de Chelsea David Luiz. Agressif, rapide et puissant, il correspond au profil recherché. Mais là aussi il y a un hic puisque le joueur a prolongé son contrat la saison passée jusqu'en 2017...
Alexis Sanchez remplacé par... Neymar.
En attaque, Alexis Sanchez pourrait faire ses valises et retrouver la Serie A (il a évolué à l'Udinese de 2006 à 2011). Selon Tuttosport, le Chilien serait en effet ciblé par la Juventus Turin. Antonio Conte, l'entraîneur des Bianconeri, verrait d'un bon œil une association future entre le natif de Tocopilla et Fernando Llorente, l'attaquant de l'Athletic Bilbao qui a signé cet hiver. Rarement aligné d'entrée, Alexis Sanchez est pourtant essentiel à Vilanova lorsqu'il s'agit de faire tourner... Un départ reste cependant envisageable selon El Mundo Deportivo. Et la possible arrivée de Neymar pourrait faire bouger les choses. Le média affirme que le technicien catalan lui réserve depuis quelques temps une place dans son onze de départ... Autant d'affaires qu'il faudra suivre avec attention d'ici l'été prochain !

Pour le compte de la 20ème journée du championnat suisse, le milieu de terrain et international tunisien Oussema Darragi est revenu à la compétition après une longue absence. A un quart d'heure de la fin, il a remplacé l'italien, Gennaro Gattuso. Le FC Sion s'est imposé face au FC Saint-Galle 1/0. Le club valaisin est classé troisième avec 35 points au compteur.

Cruyff: "For Real Madrid to be 16 points behind Barça is a failure"

Catalonia coach Johan Cruyff, who will take charge of his last game for the autonomous region against Nigeria on Wednesday, has been speaking hours before the game about the current goings on at Real Madrid, whose season he has labelled until now as a "failure". He also claimed, with obvious reference to Iker Casillas, that a goalkeeper does not lose his place in a team overnight.
"At this stage of the season Real Madrid being 16 points behind Barcelona can only be called a failure", Cruyff said from the hotel where his side is staying ahead of the game.
On the contentious substitution of Casillas in the recent Málaga game he was clear that "you don't lose your place overnight".
Cruyff's last appearance on the bench, as he has claimed the Nigeria game will be, comes after a successful coaching career that reached its peak with the Barcelona side of the late 80's and early 90's. During that time the Dutchman won four consecutive league titles and the club's first ever European Cup, among other honours.

Messi: "I hope Tito makes a full recovery"

Lionel Messi's main wish for 2013 is that his coach Tito Vilanova can make a complete recovery. "Tito is one of us and so I hope that he can finally make a complete recovery and his health issues are forgotten forever", he explained in an interview in Argentina with newspaper 'Olé'.
The Argentine star is as ambitious as ever for the new year but he points out that he has no desire to make history with Barcelona. "We just want to keep going and continue improving all the time," he said.
In 2012 he achieved a goalscoring record that suggests he is at the peak of his career.
"To tell you the truth I don't know if it was my best year to date. I always want to keep improving in all aspects of my game", he said.
On his growth as a player he admitted to having made slight adjustments to his game.
